I recently attended my brother's graduation convocation ceremony. At first I was apprehensive because I heard that these ceremonies are long, boring and in short- not fun. However I was pleasantly surprised. The commencement speech was excellent. The speaker spoke about change. The best line was that " One can change without progress but we cannot progress without change".
When it was time for my brother to come on the stage, I suddenly felt proud. The sisterly instincts were loud and clear. The best moment was that we screamed out loud when his name was announced and he stood on the stage and waved out...... He deserved it, every bit of it. I am sure my parents would be very proud if they were there.
The day ended with a pit stop at cheesecake factory.. it was good. I also think that a feeling of guilt after eating the cheesecake doubled the pleasure of eating it.
